Description

Nagkesar buds are used as a spice in Kokani and Maharashtrian cuisines in India. These are small bud-like ingredients, grey- blackish in colour. It is not a strong spice, but has a slightly woody aroma with a vague hint of citrus in the taste. It is used while making spice blends for everyday use. Nakeshar has lots of medicinal properties hence used widely in Ayurvedic medicines.
