How to make vegetable or chicken biryani using Masala Bazaar’s Biryani spice blend:
1. Boil 300 gram of Basamati rice & set aside.
2. Take 500 gram chicken or choice of Vegetables (Mushrooms, carrots, french beans, peas, cauliflower). Add 1 1/2 tablespoons of The Masala Bazaar’s Biryani spice blend along with ginger garlic paste, salt as per taste, Birista, curd & lemon juice. Marinate for half and hour.
3. Heat a heavy bottom pan, add oil & fry 2-3 sliced onions. Add ginger garlic paste, puree of 2 medium size tomatoes and add marinated chicken/ vegetables. Add little water in case required. Let it cook.
4. Apply Ghee to the vessel and spread half of the cooked rice, then add cooked chicken/ vegetables and add remaining rice on the top.
5. Add some ghee and sprinkle some milk on the layer of the rice. You can also add some chopper coriander, Birista and mint leaves on rice.
6. Cover the vessel and let it cook for 20-25 mins on low flame.
7. Serve hot with papad and curd raita.
How to make vegetable or chicken pulav quickly with simple steps using Masala Bazaar’s Biryani spice blend:
1. In a cooker, heat oil and add 2 sliced onions and fry well. Add salt as per taste and add 1 and 1/2 bowl of choice of vegetables or chicken. Add 1 1/2 tablespoons of The Masala Bazaar’s Biryani spice blend. Stir well.
2. Wash approx 300 gram rice and add required hot water. Stir well.
3. Pressure cook till 2-3 whistles.
4. Once cooker release the pressure, open the lid and mix well. Garnish with chopped coriander and serve hot with slice of lemon and Curd- raita.
