Rampatri appear like a dried red-orange colour flowerbud kind of ingredient. It is bitter in taste and used in lesser quantity while making everyday used spice blends as one of the flavour enhancer.
The appearance is much like Mace, but much larger and more dense. The aroma and flavor are much darker and less fruity than mace.
